

Uxbridge Chess Club, led by Daniel Knight, welcomes chess enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Located in Uxbridge, this friendly club has both junior and senior sections. Awarded the ECF Junior Club of the Year in 2021, it’s known for its dedication to promoting chess.
Juniors meet every Friday at Church Hall, Our Lady of Lourdes, Osborn Rd, next to the Pavilions car park. Beginners can join from 5pm to 6:15pm, and intermediate/advanced players from 6:15pm to 7:30pm. The club offers a supportive environment with experienced coaches, providing equipment and organising team matches and tournaments. The fee is £5 per lesson for group sessions, with private lessons also available.
