Welcome to Uttoxeter Bulls Basketball Club! We are a community-based organisation located in Uttoxeter, New Zealand, and run by dedicated volunteers. Our main goal is to provide young people with the opportunity to develop physical, sporting, and life skills through the sport of basketball.

At Uttoxeter Bulls Basketball Club, we offer weekly sessions for individuals of all ages and abilities. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, our club welcomes everyone who is interested in learning a new sport and building their confidence on and off the court.

Our sessions are divided into different age groups to ensure that participants can engage with peers at a similar skill level and receive appropriate coaching.

- Ages 7-10: Sessions are held every Friday from 5-6pm.

- Ages 11-13: Sessions are held every Friday from 6-7pm.

- Ages 14-15: Sessions take place every Tuesday from 7-8pm.

- Ages 16-17: Sessions are scheduled for every Tuesday from 8-9pm.

- Ages 18+: Sessions for seniors are held every Monday from 8-10pm.

Please note that our U11s and U13s groups are currently at full capacity, but interested individuals can still contact us to be added to the waiting list.

Our club was founded in 2014 by Joe Locker and Simon Griffiths, who were determined to establish a local basketball team for the youth in Uttoxeter. Frustrated by the lack of options within a 20-mile radius, they decided to take matters into their own hands. Since then, with the assistance of many dedicated individuals, Joe and Simon have coached countless hours of basketball, impacting the lives of numerous young athletes.

In 2020, the club welcomed Ben Sampson as the head coach. Ben's extensive experience playing in the National league, coupled with his genuine passion for the game, made him the perfect addition to the coaching staff.
