Urban Gelball is the Sunshine Coast's Original and best close quarter battle gelball field, located in Forest Glen, Queensland. The field is conveniently located in Shed 2, 329 Mons Road, right across the road from Kunara. Urban Gelball offers various sessions throughout the week to cater to different preferences and age groups. On Wednesdays from 18:00-21:00, there is an Uber Session for players aged 16 and above with 380FPS and unrestricted gels. Thursdays and Fridays from 18:00-21:00 are public sessions open to all ages.
On Saturdays from 14:00-17:00, there is another public session available.
To participate in a public session, all you require is enclosed footwear. Urban Gelball provides rental packages that include a gelblaster, a magazine, eye protection, and unlimited ammo. Extra protection is up to each individual player, but it is recommended to bring a long sleeve shirt just in case. However, for the Uber session, full face protection, neck coverage, long sleeves, long pants, and gloves are required.
Urban Gelball encourages players to arrive 20–30 minutes prior to the session start to get checked in and set up. For larger groups, it is advised to contact the field in advance for better accommodation. The Gelball community at Urban Gelball consists of both regular players and new casual drop-ins, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. The field splits all players into teams at the start of each session, so whether you come with friends or come alone, you are sure to make new ones along the way.
