As a proud member of Skate Canada for over 70 years, Upper Canada Skating Club is dedicated to fostering the enthusiasm and goals of its members. The club is located at Mitchell Field Arena, 89 Church Ave, North York.
The club offers Skate Canada's flagship learn-to-skate program, CanSkate, which focuses on teaching quality fundamental movements and basic skills. Upper Canada Skating Club has earned the 'Exceeded Standard' in the Skate Ontario CanSkate Excellence Recognition program, showcasing its commitment to delivering an exceptional program to its skaters.
Registration is currently open for the Spring 2024 Session, running from March 18 to May 18. The club also offers a Summer 2024 CanSkate Session from June 4 to July 30 at Canlan Ice Sports York University, with details to follow.
Upper Canada Skating Club caters to a variety of age groups with programs such as Pre-CanSkate for 3-5-year-olds, CanSkate 1-6 for 6-12-year-olds, Teen Learn to Skate for 13-17-year-olds, and Adult Learn to Skate for adults.
