Established in 1922 by renowned Golf Course Architect Stanley Thompson, Uplands Golf Club was originally an eighteen-hole private course. However, due to urban development in the late 1980s, it was reduced to a nine-hole gem nestled in the heart of the city.
Despite the changes over the years, Uplands Golf & Ski Club has maintained its classic Stanley Thompson design, giving golfers the opportunity to play on a piece of golfing history at a reasonable price. The nine holes wind through a forested valley, providing players with stunning scenery and challenging gameplay. Notable holes include the fourth and eighth, which are considered some of the most spectacular par threes in Southern Ontario.
