University of Calgary Hawkings Field is a cornerstone of athletic excellence in Calgary.
Located at 188 Collegiate Blvd NW, Calgary, AB T2N 4V8, Hawkings Field is the leading venue for amateur field hockey in the Calgary area. This state-of-the-art facility, home to the Dinos field hockey team, was opened in September 2004 and underwent renovations in August 2018. The project was a collaborative effort between the University of Calgary and Field Hockey Alberta.
Accessing Hawkings Field is convenient, with the easiest approach being from the north side of the University via 32 Ave NW, turning south onto Collegiate Blvd. Visitors can then park in Lot 10 or Lot 11, both offering daily flat rates of $9. The field is located immediately west of the Olympic Oval.
