Join the University of Birmingham Boat Club in Worcester! Jenny Smith and her team are here to support rowers of all skill levels and ambitions. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, you'll get the support and coaching needed to excel both on and off the water.
New to rowing? The Development Squad is perfect for you! Under the guidance of volunteer captains, you'll pick up the basics and progress through the year, with chances to join the British Rowing Student Development Programme.
Rowing veteran? The Senior Squad focuses on honing your skills and competing at top levels. Train in larger boats during winter for fitness and smaller boats in summer to fine-tune racing skills.
Prefer a more relaxed approach? Enjoy recreational rowing at their boathouses with plenty of opportunities to join in events if you wish.
The Club competes in key events like the BUCS Head and BUCS Regatta, alongside national competitions such as the Head of the River and Henley Regattas.
