Nestled on the scenic shores of Underbank Reservoir, our activity centre is easily accessible from the Stocksbridge bypass. With a 56-bed tented village, you can experience a truly memorable residential adventure. Rest assured that all our instructors hold full outdoor first aid certification and have undergone enhanced DBS checks. We are proud to have earned the AALA, AAIAC, and Learning Outside the Classroom awards, ensuring the quality of every session.

Our opening hours are as follows: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm; Weekends on selected dates; and School Holidays, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
The leisure season at Underbank Activity Centre runs from March to October, but don't worry, you can book group sessions year-round. For more information about prices, please refer to our brochure.
Now, let's talk about booking an instructed session. Prices start at just £44 for a one-hour activity, and these sessions are suitable for anyone aged 7 and over, regardless of skill level. On selected weekends and school holidays, we offer five time slots a day, and all the equipment you need will be provided. If you prefer to bring your own watercraft, you can make use of our water for just £11 per vessel.
Planning a birthday celebration? Our birthday party package can accommodate 8 people and includes one hour of fun with your chosen activity, followed by 30 minutes in our classroom facilities. Additional guests can be added for a small fee per head.
