The Cheltenham & Bloomsbury Aikido Club is excited to announce a special event in collaboration with the UCL Alumni Aikido Group. This event is designed to provide opportunities for UCL students, alumni, staff, and members of the community to come together and practice the art of Aikido.
Established in 2013, the UCL Alumni Aikido Group recognises the invaluable contribution of UCL alumni and staff in fostering the continuity, experience, and teaching of Aikido at UCL. Whether you have trained in Aikido at UCL or have developed an interest in the martial art since your time at UCL, we warmly welcome you to join our group. And hey, your friends and family are more than welcome to join in on the fun too!
Our primary goal is to support the student UCLU Aikido Club in providing a platform for Aikido practice at the UCL Union's Bloomsbury Fitness centre. Whether you're a beginner eager to learn the basics or a seasoned practitioner looking to refine your skills, our events, and activities cater to practitioners of all levels. We believe that Aikido is for everyone, and we encourage everyone to come along and experience the unique blend of physicality and philosophy that Aikido offers.
But there's more! The UCL Alumni Aikido Group also aims to establish a global network of UCL Aikido Alumni for social connection and training purposes. So, no matter where you are in the world, you can stay connected with the group and participate in our social events and training opportunities.
