UBC Active Kids

UBC Active Kids is a dynamic physical fitness program offered by the UBC School of Kinesiology in Vancouver. The program focuses on providing recreational gymnastics, sports, and physical activity classes to individuals and communities of all ages and ability levels. With a philosophy centred on fun, inclusivity, safety, and structured movement experiences, UBC Active Kids aims to promote physical literacy development and lifelong participation in physical activity.

The program offers a variety of classes, camps, and events throughout the year, with both spring and summer terms available for registration. The curriculum is designed to facilitate the acquisition of sport-specific skills and encourage overall physical wellbeing. Participants can engage in activities that promote healthy eating habits and learn valuable nutrition tips through the Healthy Eating Tips booklet created by UBC Active Kids and UBC School of Kinesiology faculty and students.
