Hockey Manawatu Inc is thrilled to announce the upcoming U13/U15 Development Programme 2024! This exciting 3-day training camp is the perfect opportunity for young hockey players in Palmerston North to enhance their skills and take their game to the next level.
Taking place during the July holidays, this development programme is designed to provide our talented athletes with intensive training and guidance. Day 1 and 2 of the camp will see participants engaging in 3.5 hours of skill-based training. From honing their dribbling techniques to perfecting their precision passes, players will have the chance to refine their abilities under the guidance of experienced coaches.
But that's not all! Day 3 of the training camp is dedicated to an exhilarating game day. This is where our coaches will assess the players' skills and determine which teams they will be assigned to for the much-awaited festival coming up in September and October. It's an opportunity for our young athletes to showcase their talent and prove why they deserve to be a part of this incredible event.
We want to extend our warmest encouragement to all players, whether they're beginners or seasoned pros, to attend this training camp. By participating in the U13/U15 Development Programme 2024, players will significantly increase their chances of being involved in the upcoming festival.
Speaking of the festival, we are thrilled to announce the confirmed dates and venues! The U15 LNI Festival is set to take place from 28th September to 1st October 2024. For the girls' matches, all the excitement will unfold in Hawkes Bay, while the boys' matches will be happening in Wairarapa.
