Tulla United is a well-established soccer club located in the heart of East Clare, with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1970. The club proudly serves the community of Tulla as well as surrounding villages and parishes, including Bodyke, Broadford, Clooney, Crusheen, Feakle, Kilkishen, Killenena, O'Callaghan Mills, and Quin.
Over the years, Tulla United has undergone significant development, particularly in the past decade, with the establishment of top-notch facilities at The Cragg. The club boasts a team of over 40 qualified coaches who cater to players of all ages, from U7 boys and girls to adults. Currently, the club has more than 250 members and fields two Junior Teams in the Clare District Soccer League (C. D.
S. L. ), as well as several schoolboy/girls teams in the Clare Schoolboy/girl Soccer League (C. L.
Tulla United actively promotes non-competitive participation for children aged 5 to 10, fostering a love for the game in young players. The club's facilities at The Cragg include a main floodlit pitch, a secondary pitch, a clubhouse with four dressing rooms, and an ASTRO/All-Weather Pitch, a joint venture with the Tulla Community Council that opened in July 2011.
In recognition of its outstanding achievements, Tulla United became the first Clare soccer club to receive an AVIVA FAI Club of the Month award in January 2011. The club is dedicated to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for players of all ages and skill levels, striving to promote the love of the game and the values of teamwork and sportsmanship within the community.
