Master Ian Ridley wants to share that T-UK Leeds Taekwon-Do ITF is situated in Pudsey, Leeds. Established in 2017, the club was founded by Master Ian VII Degree, and while his initial co-founders Miss Anna Reed II Degree and Mr Lewis Hale I Degree have moved on from Leeds, the club is now supported by Miss Emma Ridley (Second Degree) and Mr Adam Ridley (First Degree).
Leeds TKD focuses on traditional Taekwon-Do following the teachings of its founder, General Choi Hong Hi. The club prides itself on fostering a strong family spirit and supportive environment for all participants. It’s open to individuals of all fitness levels and ages, and it’s particularly encouraging for families – children can often be seen training alongside their parents, creating opportunities for bonding and personal growth.
At Leeds TKD, Taekwon-Do is more than just physical training. It instils respect, self-discipline, self-confidence, and mental resilience in students, equipping them to tackle everyday challenges head-on. The club’s grading system motivates members to set goals and stay focused, fostering a sense of determination and achievement that extends beyond the training hall.
Master Ian Ridley leads the club. With over 30 years of experience and a 7th degree black belt, he has a wealth of knowledge and success as the National Team Coach, competing in European and World Championships. He’s currently Vice-President & Secretary General of Taekwon-Do UK and Vice President of ITF England.
The club’s top priority is the safety and well-being of its members, adhering to stringent safeguarding guidelines set by Taekwon-Do United, the governing body, ensuring a secure training environment.
Master Ian and the T-UK Leeds Taekwon-Do ITF community warmly welcome anyone eager to learn and grow through traditional Taekwon-Do. Join them to enhance your physical fitness, mental strength, and life skills in a dynamic and inclusive setting.
