Tsuyosa Martial Arts, located in Pointe-Claire, is a martial arts school that takes a fresh approach to teaching the traditional style of wado karate. The school prides itself on creating a strong community with the united goal of bringing out the strongest and most confident in every student.

The Kids Classes at Tsuyosa are designed to deliver fundamental karate techniques in a fun and engaging way. Emphasis is placed on Dojo Etiquette, Discipline, Focus, and Control, with a strong focus on empowering kids to be confident and strong. The Pre-Teen classes for children aged 8-12 expose students to a more advanced curriculum of techniques and kata, while also promoting teamwork, leadership skills, and personal growth.

The Teen classes at Tsuyosa, for students aged 13-16, cultivate a positive community environment while fostering physical strength, integrity, and character development. The Adult Classes offer a fun way for adults to develop strength, flexibility, and coordination in a welcoming dojo environment.

Sensei Meghan, the head instructor at Tsuyosa, brings her love for karate into all of her programs, from Pre-School and Elementary School units to Self Defence, Teenager, and Adult Classes. Sensei Steve, with his vast knowledge of martial arts history and body mechanics from personal training experience, offers valuable expertise to students. Sensei Alison, a graceful and powerful karateka, draws from her teaching experience as a school resource teacher to enhance the learning experience. Sensei Alan, a patient instructor with a long history in various martial arts, brings a wealth of knowledge to the mat.
