Are part of TSKC Tairyoku Shotokan Karate Club, they all follow the same principles, teachings, and standards set by Sensei Lester Wellington, the founder and chief instructor.

TSKC Tairyoku SKC is proud to have qualified and EKF approved club instructors who are passionate about teaching and promoting the art of Shotokan Karate. All instructors are First Aid trained and have DBS enhanced certification, ensuring a safe and professional learning environment for all students.

The club welcomes students of all ages and experience levels. Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced martial artist from another association or style, TSKC is open to everyone. The minimum age requirement for joining the club is 7 years old. Male and female students are equally encouraged to participate and benefit from the training.

With six regular dojos located throughout Buckinghamshire and extending into Oxfordshire, students have convenient options for training close to their homes. The dojo locations are easily accessible, providing a welcoming atmosphere for students to learn and grow in their karate journey.

New students are always welcome to join TSKC. The club operates on a rolling agenda, allowing individuals to begin their training at any time. Prospective students are invited to try their first karate lesson for free. Prior to attending the first class, TSKC requests potential students to complete the online registration form to save time upon arrival.

In addition to regular training sessions, TSKC offers private lessons for individuals or small groups of up to four students. These private lessons provide an opportunity to catch up on missed lessons and gain personalised instruction to improve techniques and refine kata details. Each hour of private lesson counts as three lessons towards the student's grading requirements. TSKC Tairyoku SKC holds regular gradings for students to progress in their karate journey. The club has confirmed dates for KYU Gradings scheduled throughout the year, allowing students to work towards their next belt level. The grading events are an opportunity for students to demonstrate their skills and dedication, and to receive recognition for their achievements.
