IKSAC - Ilkeston and Kimberley Sub Aqua Club, a renowned Scuba Diving club in Nottingham, is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for all the diving enthusiasts out there. Introducing the Try Dive event, an activity that allows individuals to dive into the magnificent world of scuba diving for the very first time.
These exhilarating try dives are scheduled every Friday night at Kimberley Leisure Centre, starting from 8.45pm and ending at 10pm. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participants will receive a concise but informative briefing from one of our highly qualified instructors. Once briefed, they will then proceed to assemble their equipment, eagerly preparing to embark on this unforgettable adventure.
With the instructor right beside them, guaranteeing both safety and amusement, participants will get to explore the fascinating underwater world, gradually familiarising themselves with the unique environment. The session lasts approximately one hour, after which everyone is invited to enjoy a refreshing social drink with other members of our vibrant club.
We understand that commitment can be a daunting prospect, especially for those new to scuba diving. That's why we offer up to 5 try dives for individuals before they make the decision to become club members. Once committed, our club provides a variety of further training opportunities, both in the pool and at stunning local and coastal dive sites.
To ensure a seamless experience, all necessary equipment will be provided. However, participants are kindly requested to bring their swimming trunks, an old t-shirt, a towel, and £1 for a locker.
