

The founding team of rugby players at the AC. In 1967 Jim was a driving force in the organization of the first club on campus that fielded a few matches with local teams. He went on to serve the Nova Scotia Rugby Union as a senior fixed club coordinator, as the driving force for the establishment of a junior fixed club league and as a founding member of Dartmouth Rugby Club. He was inducted into the Rugby Nova Scotia Hall of Fame as a builder.
