Since its establishment in 1970, Trotters has been dedicated to providing high-quality horse riding instruction and livery services. Led by the experienced and passionate owner, Sally, who is BHS qualified and has been riding since 1979, Trotters is a family-based riding school that takes pride in passing on knowledge and watching their riders grow. With a wealth of experience gained over 40 years and working on various yards, Sally and her team offer personalised services to cater to all ages and abilities.

Trotters offers a wide range of services, including horse riding lessons, hacks, beach rides, pony days, camps, and other horse activities and experiences. The centre has a variety of well-schooled horses and ponies, carefully selected to cater to riders of different levels. Whether you're a complete beginner or a more advanced rider, Trotters welcomes both children and adults to join their lessons, where they can develop their confidence, riding skills, and make new friendships.

For riding lessons, Trotters ensures a progressive and fun-based approach while prioritising safety. The lessons are tailored to the rider's ability, focusing on both flat work and jumping for intermediate riders and above. The centre also offers hacks in the surrounding area, taking riders through forests, woods, and bridleways, helping them gain confidence in various riding environments.
