Troon Chess Club is an active participant in the Ayrshire League, with teams Troon A and Troon B competing against other clubs in the region. The latest league results can be found on the Chess Scotland website, which may have resulted in grade changes for some individuals. Furthermore, the club itself organises internal games, providing an opportunity for juniors to earn their first chess grading.
Upcoming Ayrshire League games include Troon B playing against Stewarton on January 16th and Troon A hosting Ardrossan/Largs on January 18th. Team captains will be in touch with the members who are required to participate in these fixtures. As usual, members are encouraged to notify the club if they are unable to attend and play their match.
