Welcome to Tri Swim School! Tri Swim School is a small family-run swimming school located in Abingdon, New Zealand. The school was founded by a dedicated Mum of three young children who were unsatisfied with the standard of swimming lessons available locally. Determined to provide a higher level of instruction for her own and other local children, she started Tri Swim School to raise the bar for children's swimming lessons in the area.
At Tri Swim School, we believe that all young children should have a positive experience with the water from their very first encounter, regardless of their age. We offer small, personable classes to ensure individual attention and allow children to progress at their own pace. Our lessons are conducted in a fun and friendly environment, where safety skills are taught alongside swimming techniques.

Our swim school offers a range of classes to cater to different age groups and skill levels. For babies, toddlers, and pre-school children from 3 months old, we provide fun and friendly group classes. These classes are conducted in small groups and utilise 'song and rhyme' techniques to introduce young ones to the water in a safe environment.
For children aged 4 and above, we offer group lessons in our swimming school. Our focus is on small class sizes and quality teaching, resulting in fast progress for our students. Above all, we want your child to develop a love for swimming. We prioritise teaching children how to save themselves in the water at a young age, placing importance on water safety over perfect swimming technique.
In addition to group lessons, Tri Swim School also provides private lessons for children of any age. These 30-minute lessons are conducted by highly experienced swimming teachers who can assist your child in overcoming fears, accelerating their progress, or refining their swimming technique.
