Trinity Old Scholars Cricket Club

The Trinity Old Scholars Cricket Club, located in Evanston Park, is a vibrant and inclusive club that provides a sporting and social outlet for former students of Trinity College, Gawler. While our foundation lies in the school's alumni, we welcome players from all backgrounds, making us a truly diverse and inclusive club.

Our home ground, Waldeck Oval, offers a picturesque setting with well-maintained facilities. Additionally, we also have access to the Main Oval, Gawler River, and Blakeview for our matches. What sets us apart from other clubs is our indoor facility, which boasts four carpeted pitches and a bowling machine. This facility allows us to continue training and playing even during inclement weather conditions.

In 2017, we proudly opened our modern and well-equipped clubrooms, which include a fully licenced bar and a spacious entertainment area. These clubrooms serve as a hub for our members to come together, enjoy social gatherings, and celebrate our successes. It's worth noting that our club was a significant financial contributor to the Pavilion, a testament to our commitment to the development of our facilities.

Striving for excellence both on and off the field, we have a dedicated coaching and administration structure in place. Our aim is to provide our players with the necessary resources and support to develop their skills and achieve their best performance. The Trinity Old Scholars Cricket Club takes great pride in our achievements, with our honour board displaying the outstanding contributions made by our members. We also have a tradition of awarding Yellow Caps to players who have achieved remarkable feats on the field, such as scoring a century or taking five wickets in an innings. These caps symbolise excellence and are a source of great pride for our players.
