Welcome to Trident Charters, a leading fishing charter operating out of Christchurch, Dorset. Established in 2022, Trident Charters offers unforgettable experiences on the water, led by our experienced skipper, Tom Walker.

Tom has a true passion for the sea, having spent most of his life on the water. From surfing to leisure boating to diving, Tom's love for fishing began over 20 years ago when he caught his first fish. With years of experience and expertise, Tom has honed his skills on various vessels, and was previously the proud skipper of Manta Ray for 10 years. In November 2022, Tom acquired his fifth boat, Trident, with the dream of running his own trips in familiar waters.

Trident is a Botnia Targa 25, built in 2002, and recently equipped with a Nanni 200hp diesel engine. This powerful combination allows the vessel to cruise comfortably at a speed of 22 knots, with a top speed of 30 knots. With seating for up to 5 people indoors, Trident ensures a comfortable journey regardless of the weather conditions. The boat also features ample seating at the front and rear, accessible through a walk-around deck.

Trident truly lives up to the Targa reputation as “the 4×4 of the sea.

To enhance your fishing experience, rods, and reels are available for hire onboard at a rate of 15 per person. Rod hire includes terminal tackle, while lures can be purchased onboard, with a full range of stock from Lethal Lures UK. Trident is MCA coded category 3, with “Work Boat” classification, enabling us to take up to 5 passengers out 20 miles from a safe haven, day, or night.

Safety is a top priority at Trident Charters. Our vessel is equipped with vital safety equipment, including a life raft, life rings, lifejackets, a first aid kit, VHF radios, flares, and search lights. Our skipper is fully trained and certified in first aid and safety at sea. Before each trip, all passengers receive a thorough safety briefing to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Trident Charters offers a range of fishing trips to suit every angler's preferences. Whether you're interested in bass fishing, general fishing, mackerel fishing, or shark fishing, there's a trip for you. Prices are for the entire boat, with a maximum of 4 people, and range from 20 for a 1. 5-hour mackerel fishing trip (minimum 3 people) to 440 for an 8-hour bass or shark fishing trip (equipment included).

In addition to fishing trips, Trident Charters also offers transport trips for up to 5 people, with a maximum duration of 4 hours. Perfect for those who want to explore the stunning coastline or visit neighbouring islands.
