John would like to share a few words with the sports community about Tresorya Stud, a horse riding school just outside Truro in Cornwall. With a family heritage spanning over 160 years in the local horse scene and 80 years of breeding on Carnon Farm, Tresorya Stud is respected for its Welsh Section D and Part-Bred horses.
John wants everyone to know that Tresorya Stud specialises in breeding horses suitable for various disciplines. The horses, including colours like palomino, cremello, and buckskin/dun, are bred to excel in different activities, catering to all riders.
At the stud, you'll find four remarkable homebred Welsh Cob Section D Stallions. Tresorya Cornish Cream and Tresorya Rhodri Rhun are available for limited stud services. Tresorya Cornish Cream can produce unique palomino and buckskin/dun offspring. Tresorya Rhodri Rhun, with his striking chestnut coat and flaxen mane, is also available for breeding.
For those interested in purchasing horses, John mentions that Tresorya Stud has some exciting options. Tresorya Dancing Lord, a young palomino stallion known for producing splash foals, and the newly licenced grey colt/stallion, Tresorya Maestro of the Valley, who has already impressed with his first foal, are up for consideration. John's looking forward to seeing Tresorya Maestro of the Valley cover the stud's mares in 2024, with a few of his foals likely available for sale.
John is proud of Tresorya Stud's strong showing record. Highlights include winning the Best Group of Welsh Cob Section Ds and the Champion Rosette for Stallion and progeny at the Annual Stud Competition. In 2017, they were honoured with the Highland Trophy for a group of foals sired by Tresorya Cornish Cream.
Tresorya Welsh Cobs are well-known beyond Cornwall and across Europe, with many inquiries about exports. Looking ahead to 2024, John is optimistic about welcoming more show-quality foals, many of which will be for sale, including beautiful dilutes and possibly double dilutes. They'll also be offering mares for sale with coverings by their esteemed stallions.
If anyone needs specific information, John invites you to contact Tresorya Stud directly. He also cautions about unauthorised posts advertising their horses and advises potential buyers to approach such adverts with care.
For the latest updates, John encourages everyone to visit the Tresorya Stud website, last updated on 7th January 2024.
