Are you the owner of Trefelin Boys and Girls Club?

Mark Davies, as the dedicated organiser of Trefelin Boys and Girls Club, extends a warm greeting to all members of the sports community. Based in Port Talbot, Wales, the club has been a cornerstone of local football since 1984, growing steadily and now featuring strong junior and senior sections.
Mark has always stressed the importance of community and grassroots football, ensuring that children from all backgrounds have the chance to partake in the sport. When the club started out, they played at the local park, but Mark and the committee had a vision. In 1996, that vision came to life with the construction of the Ynys Park playing field and pavilion complex. Since then, the club has continuously improved the grounds, with the latest being a 100-seater stand added in 2019.
Over the years, Mark has seen the club achieve various senior-level successes. They first clinched a major title as Port Talbot League 2nd Division champions in 1990/91. This success propelled them forward, eventually becoming top League champions and earning promotion to the 2nd Division of the South Wales Amateur League in 1994/95. Another promotion followed in 1995/96 to the first division, a feat repeated in 2006/07.
The club is no stranger to cup victories either, winning the FAW Trophy in 1999/2000 with a 6-2 victory over Bryntirion Athletic. They also picked up the John Owen Cup in 2011/12 and 2013/14, both times against AFC Bargoed. In 2015/16, under Mark's guidance, they were promoted to the Welsh League after winning the South Wales Alliance League. They further cemented their reputation by winning the Welsh League Cup in 2017/18, beating Llanelli Town 2-1 in the final.
Trefelin Boys and Girls Club now runs teams across all age groups, from Under 6s up to the 1st Team, alongside a successful Veterans section. Mark places great emphasis on nurturing young talent, with many first-team players rising through the club's youth system.
Mark and his team at Trefelin Boys and Girls Club are committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. They invite anyone passionate about football, regardless of age, skill level, gender, or ethnic background, to get involved.
