Trapper's Point Camp is a remote fishing camp located at the North end of Sturgeon Lake in the pristine wilderness of Northwest Ontario, Canada. Family-owned and operated, the camp offers 8 cabins and 4 campsites for guests to stay in, with water and electricity provided at each site. The camp has been providing excellent fishing experiences and accommodations since acquiring the property in 2014.
With over 10 years of experience fishing in Sturgeon Lake and the surrounding lakes, the owners of Trapper's Point Camp are experts in providing the best Walleye, Lake Trout, and Northern Pike fishing in Northwest Ontario. The camp is known for its abundance of Walleye, which gather to spawn next to the shoreline around the cabins each spring. Lake Trout can also be found in deep pools and migrate towards shorelines with boulders and reefs in the fall. Sturgeon Lake consistently produces large numbers of Northern Pike in the 25 to 40-inch range, with some reaching up to 45 inches each year.
In addition to fishing, Trapper's Point Camp offers bear hunting experiences in their private bear management area, spanning approximately 95,000 acres of pristine hunting land. The camp actively baits the area in the months leading up to the hunting season to provide guests with an unforgettable hunting experience.
