TRAINING SQUAD FUNdamentals, based at Blackshots Athletics Stadium in Grays, is the perfect place for athletes who want to master the fundamental skills and techniques needed for athletic disciplines. Led by the experienced UKA qualified Athletics Coach Alex Wells and UKA qualified Assistant Coach Chloe Zmuda, this group covers the basic techniques for all track and field events (excluding hammer throw and pole vault) to keep the sessions dynamic and exciting.
At TRAINING SQUAD FUNdamentals, athletes can expect to receive a solid foundation in their chosen event, which will greatly contribute to their overall development. Alex Wells, who has years of coaching experience with Fundamentals and Throws squads, is also an accomplished athlete himself, competing in Shot Putt, Hammer, and Discus throws for Wycombe Phoenix. Chloe Zmuda, on the other hand, actively participates in Javelin, Discus, Shot Put, and Hammer throws.
