Enrol in September 2023 and be part of the Tracy Quaife Theatre Dance School Show at the Nottingham Playhouse on March 16th and 17th, 2024. The Tracy Quaife Theatre Dance School is dedicated to providing high-quality dance education to students of all ages. The school follows a policy of ensuring that all teachers and staff have undergone background checks through the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) before being employed. The show will feature talented dancers from the school, showcasing their skills in various dance styles.
The principal of the school, Tracy Quaife, studied at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and the Christine Wheatley Dance & Drama Studios in London, gaining IDTA Fellowship Teachers in all core subjects. Tracy had a successful dance career, working with famous artists and appearing in television commercials and fashion shows. In 1990, Tracy decided to open her own dance school to pass on her knowledge and experience to aspiring young dancers.
The show will also include performances by Louise Wright, an IDTA Trinity Guild Diploma holder in Performing Arts & Acrobatic Arts, and Beth Hewitt, a Level 4 Diploma & IDTA Licentiate holder in Modern and Acrobatic Arts. Both Louise and Beth have been with the school for many years, excelling in their exams and performing in prestigious venues. Claire Waterall, an ISTD teacher, will also be part of the show. Claire studied at Performers College in London and has worked with top artists in singing, acting, and dance. Graeme Pickering, a teacher who was once a student at the Tracy Quaife Theatre Dance School, will be involved in choreography for the show. Graeme has a wealth of experience as a performer and has choreographed various productions.
