About
Townmead Youth Football Club, based in West Drayton, Middlesex, has been named Middlesex FA Club of the Year for 2022. With 300 children across 16 teams, the club has grown significantly but now faces a crucial need for more volunteers. Sarah, the organiser, insists on more coaches and helpers to maintain the club's operations.
The club is all about the kids' welfare, working closely with the NSPCC and CPSU to ensure a safe environment. Sponsors play a big part in helping to sustain the club and provide for the players.
Currently, there’s no room for more children due to limited field space, which is regrettable. Yet, Sarah encourages anyone interested to volunteer as a coach or helper – there's always a need for more assistance.
For the 2023-24 season, only those who've completed a four-week trial and are specifically invited can register. For this, you'll need to reach out to Club Registration Officer, Stephen Webb, via WhatsApp, text, or phone call. Prospective members must agree to the club's terms and conditions.
Townmead Youth Football Club plays in several leagues, including the Capital Girls League, the Thames Valley Football Development League, and the Harrow Youth Football League. Upcoming matches are posted regularly on the club's website.
Sarah and the club are committed to giving young players a great football experience. Despite current registration limits, the club is dedicated to fostering a love for football and supporting player development.
