Welcome to Toton Kickboxing Club, located in Mickleover, Derby, and Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire. Toton Kickboxing Club is dedicated to providing high-quality martial arts training for individuals of all levels and ages. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced martial artist, everyone is welcome to join our club.
Led by Liam Harper-Camm, a 3rd Dan Blackbelt, our team of experienced instructors are fully insured, equipped with first aid training, and have over 20 years of experience in martial arts. We are passionate about teaching martial arts and helping our students achieve their goals, whether it's fitness, self-defence, gradings, or competition.
At Toton Kickboxing Club, we offer a range of classes to cater to different needs and preferences. Our adult kickboxing classes are open to both men and women and are suitable for all skill levels. If you have trained differently before, we encourage you to come and add something new to your skill set. We also offer ladies-only kickboxing classes, providing a safe and supportive training environment for women of all abilities.
For children, we have dedicated kids kickboxing classes, where they can learn important self-defence skills in a fun and engaging way. We focus not only on physical fitness but also on developing discipline, confidence, and respect in our young students.
If you are interested in competitive kickboxing, we offer the opportunity to participate in grading examinations and competitions. We follow a structured grading syllabus to ensure that students progress and achieve their desired goals.
Our class timetable is designed to accommodate various schedules. In Long Eaton, adult kickboxing classes are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, while in Mickleover, classes are held on Tuesdays and Fridays. Additionally, we offer kids kickboxing classes on Mondays in Long Eaton and on Wednesdays in Mickleover.
To participate in our kickboxing classes, basic equipment such as boxing gloves, shin and instep pads, a groyne guard, and a gum shield are required for sparring. However, no equipment is needed to begin training at your first class.
For ladies who prefer a more focused training environment, our ladies-only kickboxing classes are held on select Tuesdays. These classes are suitable for all levels of ability and include strength and conditioning work, bodyweight exercises, stretching, pad work, and bag work. The optional sparring work provides an opportunity to learn the aspects of the sport.
At Toton Kickboxing Club, we prioritise the safety and well-being of our students. All our coaches have the necessary insurance, first aid qualifications, and enhanced DBS certificates. We are proud to be affiliated with The British Martial Arts & Boxing Association, ensuring that our training methods and classes meet the highest standards.
