Toronto Purple Fins – Gender Free Swim Club is a welcoming and safe space for trans, non-binary, two-spirit, and queer cis women swimmers in Toronto. The club values community, connection, and inclusivity, providing an enjoyable swimming environment for all members.
Our mission is to create a space free of gender and judgment, where all individuals can feel comfortable and supported. We welcome swimmers of all levels, from recreational to competitive, and organize lanes based on skill level during practices to ensure everyone gets the most out of their swimming experience.
The club is housed at the Wellesley Community Aquatic Centre, a city-run pool with universal change rooms and accessibility features. The facility boasts a 5-lane 25m pool, providing an ideal space for members to train and practice.
Swim practices are open to all, with coaches greeting swimmers upon arrival and providing guidance throughout the session. Whether you are new to swimming or a seasoned pro, our coaches will tailor the practice to suit your skill level and ensure a productive and enjoyable workout for all participants.
