Toronto Equestrian Downtown

Equestrian services for riders of all ages and skill levels. Located inside the historic Horse Palace building on Exhibition Grounds, Toronto Equestrian Downtown is the city's only riding school, bringing the equestrian lifestyle right to the heart of the city.

The school offers a variety of riding lessons, including private lessons with certified coaches. These one-on-one sessions cater to riders of all ages and levels, with lessons alternating between flatwork and jumping. Private lessons are 50 minutes in length and are available as a package of 4 for $588.

For beginners, the school offers introductory courses for both children and adults. The Children's Introductory Course is an 8-week program that covers basic horse handling, grooming, tacking up, and riding. Graduates of this course are eligible to join weekly group lessons. The Adult Introductory Course follows a similar format, with 90-minute sessions over 8 weeks for $1000.

Group lessons provide a fun and social way to learn to ride, with 3–6 riders per session. Lessons are 50 minutes in length and are available as a package of 4 for $348. Riders must be comfortable grooming, tacking up, and riding independently at the walk and trot to join a group lesson.
