The Basics class, suitable for beginners, is held on Tuesdays from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, and an Advanced class follows from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Another Basics class is offered on Thursdays at 5:30 pm.

The Torakan Karate community is led by Shihan Thomas McKinnon and Sensei Anthony Shearer, both highly qualified martial artists. Shihan Thomas McKinnon holds a 5th Dan Black Belt from the Karate Union of Australia and the Chinese Karate Association. He is also a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Serenity Ryu and a 1st Dan Black Belt from the Japan Karate Association. Additionally, he has received the Honorary Black Sash Award from The Shaolin Temple.
Sensei Anthony Shearer is a dedicated instructor with a passion for teaching and guiding students on their martial arts journey.
