After the war, the ground was sold and underwent various transformations, including an unsuccessful attempt at promoting greyhound racing.

Throughout its history, Tonbridge Cricket Club has maintained a close relationship with Tonbridge School. An annual fixture with the school has been held since the late 19th century, showcasing the longstanding bond between the club and the educational institution. In 1947, it was the school that came to the club's rescue by arranging for them to rent the Bath Fields from a local farmer, Mr. Bath.
