Tom Mah School of Karate

Located in Kelowna, Tom Mah School of Karate offers a traditional mixed martial arts experience that focuses on Shito-Ryu Karate, grappling, and Okinawan weapons. With a strong emphasis on effective fighting techniques and the beauty of movement through kata (patterns), students can hone their striking skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

Grappling classes are also offered to help students learn how to defend themselves when striking is not the best option. By understanding the fundamentals of grappling, students can feel confident in any self-defence situation that may arise. Additionally, Okinawan Weapons classes teach students the ancient art of Kobudo skills, allowing them to master techniques with weapons such as bo, sai, nunchaku, tonfa, and short sticks.
