tmsewtx Aquatic and Community Centre

The tmsewtx Aquatic and Community Centre, located in New Westminster, is a state-of-the-art facility that will replace the aging Canada Games Pool and Centennial Centre. This impressive 10,644 square meter (114,571 square feet) facility is set to open in 2024 and represents a $106. 6M investment in the long-term health and well-being of the community.

The facility will feature an eight-lane 50m pool, a leisure pool with a lazy river, hot pools, tot fitness area, and two multipurpose and community gathering spaces. The name tmsewtx comes from the hnqminm word for “sea otter house,” reflecting the connection to the natural surroundings of the area.

tmsewtx Aquatic and Community Centre offers rental space for non-profit organizations, public schools, and commercial groups. The facility has various rooms available for rent, including meeting rooms, multipurpose rooms, fitness studios, and gym spaces. Rental rates vary depending on the type of organization and the room capacity.
