TISKA Moulton Shotokan Karate Club is a respected martial arts school situated in Northampton. The club offers Shotokan Karate classes for all ages and skill levels, especially catering to beginners.
The Chief Instructor, Gursharan Sahota, is a seasoned martial artist. Born in Kenya and moving to the UK at 12, Gursharan started his Karate journey at 14 in Bedford. He earned his black belt 1st dan at 18 and now holds an impressive 8th dan. He has participated in many kata and kumite events both nationally and internationally.
A pivotal moment for Gursharan was in 1984 when he trained in a Japanese dojo under Sensei Hirokazu Kanazawa. This experience motivated him to dedicate his life to Karate teaching and training.
Gursharan opened his first club in Luton/Dunstable in 1981, which now serves as the association's headquarters. In 1993, he founded TISKA (The Traditional International Shotokan Karate Association), which has grown to be one of the UK's largest associations. Despite a busy schedule, Gursharan teaches over 35 classes weekly across the UK and holds master classes internationally. His guidance has helped countless students achieve their black belt and beyond.
Additionally, Gursharan actively engages in charity work, supporting projects in India and subsidising trips for surgeons to operate on underprivileged children.

The club regularly updates its gallery with photos and videos of students' achievements. They offer regular classes, club gradings, and follow a comprehensive syllabus to ensure progressive learning.
