In 1993, Gursharan established TISKA (The Traditional International Shotokan Karate Association), which has now become one of the largest associations in the UK. Through TISKA, Gursharan has trained hundreds of students of all ages, guiding them to achieve black belt standards and beyond. Additionally, Gursharan is actively involved in charity work, providing funding for surgeons to operate on underprivileged children in third world countries. He has also supported various projects in India, including the construction of a new school.
