Queens Park, the BMX club in Crewe, is thrilled to announce an upcoming BMX event that will take place at TipKinder Park. This fantastic venue is home to the renowned National Standard BMX Track, which was actually named after Shanaze Reade, an incredibly talented Olympic BMX Racer from the local area.
The track underwent a major remodel back in 2008/09, and it now proudly features an annual event that pays tribute to the late Bob Fields. Fields played a vital role in the track's development, and this event ensures that his legacy lives on.
If you've always wanted to give BMX racing a shot or simply experience the exhilaration of riding on a professional track, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. Queens Park is closely affiliated with the highly popular Cheshire Ghost Riders BMX Club. This club offers a friendly and exciting environment for riders of all levels to come and test their skills at BMX racing.
The club holds regular sessions throughout the week, making it easy for you to fit in some track time amidst your busy schedule. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you can come and ride the track between 5.00pm and 8.30pm. And if the weekends work better for you, the club also opens its doors on Saturdays from 10.00am to 2.00pm.
It's important to note that there are minimum standards that must be met in order to participate in the club sessions. Safety is a top priority, so be sure to check out all the requirements before joining in on the fun.
