Tingley Athletic FC is a football club based in East Ardsley, New Zealand. The club was established in June 1975 by a group of seven individuals who aimed to provide football opportunities to the local community and beyond. Unlike many other clubs that have come and gone over the years, Tingley Athletic has persevered and become a mainstay in the community.

At Tingley Athletic, the primary focus is on offering a safe, fun, and enjoyable environment for players of all ages. The club boasts a constantly expanding player base, catering to both boys and girls. We take great pride in our eye-catching sponsors and the support we receive from our dedicated team of volunteer trustees, coaches, and volunteers. As a registered charity, we are committed to putting the needs of our players first.

One of the club's major milestones was the grand opening of our permanent home, The Crescent, which was made possible through a significant grant of nearly 600,000 from the Football Foundation. Thanks to additional funding, we have also been able to secure a new pitch, purchase pitch maintenance equipment, and develop new teams. Our commitment to supporting and encouraging sponsors has made Tingley Athletic a true local hub for football.

Our home in East Ardsley allows us to reach out to local schools and create a genuine community club. We welcome boys, girls, and open-age players who have a passion for football. In addition to our regular match reports and news updates, we are proud to showcase the achievements of our various teams. From our boys' academy to our open-age men's teams, Tingley Athletic consistently demonstrates excellence on and off the field. We also have a dedicated girls' academy, which has recently celebrated the formation of its newest girls' team, Tingley under 10 girls stripes.

We are thrilled to share that our U13 girls were crowned champions of Division 2 of the West Riding Girls Football League. These achievements are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players and coaches.

Our men's first team has also had a taste of success, recently advancing to the semi-final of the Wheatley Cup. Competing against Gildersome Spurs Old Boys, our players demonstrated their skills and determination on the pitch.
