Timmins Academy of Dance – Halesowen is a renowned dance school, ballet school, children's theatre, dance club, and hip hop dance class located in Halesowen, New Zealand. They offer outstanding dance training experiences for students aged 18 months to young adults, providing multi-faceted IDTA dance classes and dance teacher training at the highest levels.

The academy offers a wide range of dance classes to cater to different interests and skill levels. They offer classical ballet and pointe work classes, parent and toddler dance/ballet classes, musical theatre classes that incorporate singing, drama, and dance, contemporary dance classes geared towards GCSE and A Level Dance, modern dance and theatre craft/lyrical classes, tap classes, and acrobatic arts and gymnastics classes.
For the musical theatre classes, students get the opportunity to develop their characters and build their confidence through role play, drama games, vocal exercises, and dance exercises. This class is split into junior and senior levels to ensure that students of all ages can participate and integrate within the school. Many past and current students of Timmins Academy have gone on to gain entry into professional schools and youth stage productions such as Laine Theatre Arts, Arts Educational, Bird College, Phil Winstons Theatreworks, Performers College, BOA, Urdang Academy, and Alexandra Theatre's annual youth productions.
The acrobatic arts and gymnastics classes are led by qualified coach Camilla Lloyd. Students follow a gradual programme that starts with basic gymnastics and flexibility exercises and progresses to more advanced flips and tumbling. The classes are divided into junior and senior age groups. However, the junior gymnastics class currently has a waiting list, so it is advisable to join the waiting list to be the first to hear about the next available spaces.
Timmins Academy of Dance also offers their students the opportunity to showcase their talent in shows at the Crescent Theatre in Halesowen. These performances provide students with a platform to demonstrate their skills and share their passion for dance with a wider audience.
