The team at Tiger Martial Arts are committed to not only teaching martial arts techniques, but also instilling important life skills and values in our students.
Our mission at Tiger Martial Arts is to help our students become confident leaders. We believe that martial arts is about more than just kicking and punching. Through our bespoke syllabus and Tae Kwon-Do training, we help our students build the confidence they need to succeed in all areas of their lives.
In addition to confidence, we focus on helping our students develop self-control and focus. These skills are vital for achieving success in school, work, and personal relationships. Our training also emphasises the importance of physical fitness. We have designed the Tiger Fitness Test to ensure that our students are constantly improving their fitness levels in the areas that matter most for martial arts.
Of course, self-defence is a significant component of martial arts training. While we teach our students how to protect themselves in dangerous situations, we also emphasise the importance of avoiding such situations whenever possible. Our instructors are skilled in Freestyle Tae Kwon-Do, which combines sport and traditional Tae Kwon-Do techniques in a practical and unified syllabus.
At Tiger Martial Arts, we have a set of core values that we reinforce in our training. These values include teamwork, integrity, growth, energy, respect, and self-control. We believe that by instilling these values in our students, they will not only become better martial artists, but also better members of their community.
When you join Tiger Martial Arts, you become part of the Tiger Team. Our dedicated team consists of experienced instructors and staff members who are passionate about martial arts and dedicated to your success. Our head instructor, Nick, leads the team with his expertise and knowledge. Ellie serves as our financial director, ensuring that the club runs smoothly.
Kat is our administrator, handling all administrative tasks efficiently. Jill is our activity coordinator, organising events and activities for our members. We also have instructors at various locations, including Hamish in Bath, Eleanor in Mendip, Tom in Weston, Vicky in Somerset, and Jordan in Bristol.
