The Club organises monthly squash leagues for those who enjoy friendly competition, as well as a racketball ladder for those interested in taking up this rapidly developing racket sport. Regular “Come and Try” sessions are available to introduce newcomers to the games, and junior coaching sessions are provided to foster the development of young players. Additionally, adult coaching is offered periodically for those looking to enhance their skills.

Thurso Squash, Tennis, and Racketball Club is committed to expanding its offerings and improving the sporting facilities in Thurso. The Club has recently acquired the ownership of two dilapidated tennis courts located across the road from the squash courts. Efforts are being made to raise funds to resurface these courts with an all-weather surface, replace the fencing, and instal floodlighting so that they can be utilised throughout the year. This addition will complete the Club's provision of racket sports and provide an exciting outdoor element for members and visitors.
For any inquiries or to learn more about membership, individuals can reach out to the Club via email at thurso. Racket. Club@gmail. Com or contact them directly at 01847 871245.
The Club has been actively seeking funding opportunities to support their ongoing projects. In August 2016, the Thurso Ward Discretionary Fund generously contributed 10,000 towards their endeavours. However, attempts to secure funding from the SSE Sustainable Fund and Halkirk Benefit Fund were unsuccessful. The Club has expressed interest in applying for 30,000 from Leader and anticipates a response by the end of December once their online application process becomes available.
Thurso Squash, Tennis, and Racketball Club is determined to restore and enhance the facilities to provide an exceptional sporting experience for all. With their dedicated efforts and ambitions, they aim to revitalise tennis in Thurso and continue to promote an active and inclusive sporting community in the area.
