Thoppans' Swimming Academy operates through multiple centers including Pala, Thodupuzha, Kuravilangad, and Kanjirappally, providing state-of-the-art facilities and diverse training programs. Whether you're an aspiring competitive swimmer or someone keen on learning the art of swimming for fitness, the academy offers courses tailored for all age groups and skill levels. The programs range from short-term and long-term certifications in swimming training, lifeguard courses, to pool maintenance and management.
The academy's commitment to nurturing talent is evident with more than 15,000 people having learned to swim here, and over 500 swimmers trained to compete at state, national, and international levels. Notably, our training has enabled over 200 professional swimmers to secure careers in the army, navy, paramilitary forces, and diverse other fields. Additionally, our trainees have leveraged their swimming talent to pursue advanced education in medicine, engineering, and more.
A highlight of the academy's annual calendar is the prestigious Anu Memorial Swimming Championship. Held in association with the Kottayam District Aquatic Association, this event commemorates Anu Joy, a former swimmer. The championship's winners are bestowed with the coveted 'Anu Memorial Ever-Rolling Trophy', promoting a spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship within the swimming community.
