The Valley Boxing Gym Yass is a small family-owned Boxing gym located in Yass town, New South Wales. Established in November 2020, the gym is run out of the owner's family home, providing a welcoming and intimate environment for its members.

The owner and head coach of The Valley Boxing Gym is Aaron Reid, who brings extensive experience in both competing as an amateur Olympic-style boxer and coaching others. Having personally experienced bullying and a lack of confidence and coordination growing up, Aaron discovered boxing and worked hard to develop his skills. Boxing not only gave him discipline and physical strength, but also the determination to become a well-rounded fighter. Now, Aaron wants to share his knowledge and skills with the Yass community, aiming to help others become better versions of themselves through boxing.

The gym firmly believes in contributing to the community and offers a positive environment for people from all walks of life to come together and work on their boxing skills, coordination, and fitness. The Valley Boxing Gym embraces the community spirit that is characteristic of Yass town, creating a safe space for people to learn and grow.

The gym offers a variety of classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Adult classes are available for both beginners and advanced individuals. The beginners' adult classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm till 7:30pm, while the advanced adult classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the same time. Kids classes are also available, with options for ages 6-10 and ages 10-14.

In addition to classes, The Valley Boxing Gym also provides open sparring sessions for those looking to practise their skills in a controlled environment. Please note that class sizes are limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to book their sessions in advance.
