The Valentine School of Dance

Miss Lisa Coll would like to share some exciting news with all dance enthusiasts in the community. The Valentine School of Dance is now under new ownership and has been rebranded as Amor School of Dance, still driven by its well-known friendly and caring spirit. Miss Lisa is thrilled to continue nurturing a lifelong love of dance in all its pupils.

Amor School of Dance offers a range of classes for all age groups and skill levels. For the littlest dancers, there are fun “Ballet-Ted” classes that introduce young children to the joys of ballet and dance. Grown-ups haven't been forgotten either, with Adult Tap and Ballet classes available.

Safety is always a top priority, and Miss Lisa has ensured the school's Covid-19 policies are up-to-date with the latest guidelines. There are also special measures in place for shows to keep everyone safe and sound.

The school is affiliated with ISTD and UKA, so students are guaranteed high standards of teaching and training. Stay in the loop with all the latest news and events by checking out the Dance Student News section on the website.

Miss Lisa also wants everyone to know about the school's robust child protection policy, designed to safeguard all students. A data privacy policy and terms and conditions are readily available too.

The new term kicks off on Tuesday, 18th April and runs until Saturday, 15th July. There’s lots to look forward to, including participation in community events like the Colchester Lion Walk Christmas Lights Performance and the Young Children's Festival at Castle Park.

Amor School of Dance recently shone in the “Emortus” remembrance show at the Mercury Theatre, where the dancers received a fantastic reception from the audience.
