The Training Depot, located in Richmond, is a unique facility designed specifically for personal trainers. The facility spans an impressive 350 square metres and is divided into three spaces: the Front Room, Centre Stage, and a Private Studio. The Front Room and Centre Stage can each accommodate up to four personal training sessions simultaneously, with a maximum of three clients per session. The Private Studio, on the other hand, can accommodate one personal training session with up to three clients at a time. This setup ensures that trainers have ample space to work with their clients and provide a personalised training experience.

Founder Kate has a unique story that began in 2016. With over three decades of experience as a trained dancer, she decided to fulfil her dreams and start her own business. Studio Technic, her training company, has been running successfully for seven years, initially offering group classes, mums and bubs sessions, and corporate and personal training. However, the business took a remarkable shift during the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the onset of the pandemic, Kate and her business partner had to adapt their business to the changing times. They built a brand new studio from scratch, three times the size of their previous space, with the aim of growing their already established business. However, COVID-19 brought unprecedented challenges, forcing them to find new methods and inspiration to keep their business going. It became clear that personal training, which thrived throughout the tough times, was the key to survival.

With this realisation, the idea for The Training Depot was born. Kate and her team made the smart move to shift their focus exclusively to personal training, leading to the creation of the co-sharing space for trainers. The Training Depot offers trainers the opportunity to train their clients without the constraints of lock-in contracts or hidden fees.
