Jay has a message for everyone in the sports community. Here at The Swim Skills School, we’re all about creating a fun and supportive environment where children can learn and grow in their swimming abilities. Jay and the team offer ASA accredited swimming lessons in Eastbourne for both kids and adults.
Jay’s team, all holding ASA Level 2 and STA accreditation, are dedicated to top-notch instruction while keeping everyone safe. Plus, they undergo regular CRB checks for that extra peace of mind.
Our classes cater to all levels, from ASA Stage 1 to 10. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to fine-tune their technique, Jay’s experienced teachers will guide them every step of the way.
Adults, you’re not left out! We also offer small group and one-to-one lessons in Brighton and Eastbourne. These sessions cater to everyone, whether you’re a beginner or aiming to improve specific techniques, like side breathing for front crawl.
Swimming’s a fantastic workout that’s easy on the body but packs a punch. It works nearly all muscles, boosts heart and lung health, and keeps you flexible. Plus, it’s got great mental benefits, helping with memory, learning, confidence, and even sleep.
Our pool is cosy and temperature-controlled, perfect for early years and therapeutic sessions. With small class sizes of 3-4 students, each child gets personalised attention. By nailing the basics early on, we set the stage for smooth progression.
A few things to keep in mind: Lessons are paid termly in advance according to the Sussex academic year. No catch-up lessons for missed classes, so please make sure to drop off and collect swimmers on time with the right gear. We need 4 weeks' notice for cancellations to keep things running smoothly.
A quick note on parking: Please avoid Sunnydale Avenue or Sunnydale Close to keep our agreement with the pool owners and their neighbours. Free parking is available on Carden Avenue, just across the road.
