The Sussex Swim School

The Sussex Swim School, founded by Hilary in 2004, is based in Horsham and runs swimming lessons with a clear focus on progression and personal attention. Each class is capped at six students, ensuring that every swimmer receives dedicated instruction tailored to their needs.

Students are continuously assessed and advance only when they've met all benchmarks set by the Swim England National Teaching Plan. Successful pupils receive a certificate and cloth badge as they move up. The school's commitment to excellence has earned it recognition as the “Best Swim School in The United Kingdom” by Swim England.

Understanding that a comfortable environment is key to learning, the school maintains clean, warm pools, conducive to effective swimming lessons. All instructors are fully qualified Swim England Swimming Teachers, bringing a combined experience of 200 years to the pool.
