Welcome to The Rock Garden Climbing Centre, Vernon's first and only indoor rock climbing facility. Located on 14th Ave off Kalamalka Lake Rd, our brand new 19-foot vertical walls in our air-conditioned square foot space offer something for every level of climber. We have dedicated bouldering sections, top-rope climbing, and a bouldering cave in the mezzanine. Our team of route setters ensures there are routes for both seasoned climbers and beginners.
In addition to climbing, we offer a Private Room for birthday parties, corporate team building events, and climbing club meetings. Safety is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a challenging and fun environment for climbers of all levels. The sense of community among Vernon climbers is strong, and we aim to be a hub for climbers to gather and share their love for the sport.
Our proprietor and Chief Operator, a climber himself and a long-term resident of the Okanagan Valley, saw the need for a climbing facility in Vernon and decided to fill that gap. Since May 31, 2015, we have been open, and we invite you to come visit us and experience indoor rock climbing in Vernon.
We are open Monday to Friday from 3pm to 9pm and on weekends from noon to 7pm. Additionally, we have special hours for holidays like Family Day. Climbing shoes or clean indoor running shoes are required when climbing, but rentals are available. Birthday parties and group bookings require a $50 deposit, with a full refund available with 72 hours notice.
