Located on a stunning 110-acre farm, the riding school features a brand-new, purpose-built arena perfect for outdoor lessons. Whether you're just starting or looking to hone your skills, Matt's got you covered. You can choose between private and group lessons, available in 30-minute or 1-hour sessions.
Group lessons are a hit, thanks to the warm, supportive atmosphere and small class sizes (no more than 4 riders), ensuring everyone gets a good amount of personal attention. On your first visit, you'll get a 30-minute riding assessment to match you with the right horse and level up your skills. No need to worry if you're a novice; Matt and his friendly instructors will guide you through every step at your own pace. Safety is a priority, so expect a thorough briefing on health and safety, including the latest COVID guidelines.
Booking your initial assessment is easy – just head to their website and select a private lesson for your first session. Matt and the team will chat with you about your riding goals and craft a personal plan to help you reach them. You'll even receive a written assessment and a detailed roadmap to track your progress. Achieve each level, and you'll get a certificate and a rosette as a pat on the back!
Pricing is straightforward: the assessment session is £35 for 30 minutes. Private lessons cost £32 for 30 minutes and £47 for an hour. Semi-private lessons for two people start at £29 per rider for 30 minutes and £37 per rider for an hour. Group lessons for 3-4 people are £29 per rider for an hour. To ensure a smooth ride, make sure to wear appropriate footwear (with a 1-inch heel) and non-baggy clothing. Long hair should be tied back in a low ponytail.
